nRTK Technology Overview 

Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) is a satellite-based positioning technology used across the globe, especially in robotic mowers. It uses simultaneous observations from a base station to correct positioning and improve Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). Essentially, RTK is used to elevate precision location, achieving centimeter-level accuracy.

Network Real-Time Kinematic, also known as nRTK or NetRTK, is simply a more advanced version of RTK. Rather than relying on a single base station, NetRTK uses a network of satellites to determine exact locations and positioning. This also expands the coverage area and removes the need for tedious hardware installation, providing an effortless and seamless mowing experience.

The AIRSEEKERS TRON series uses nRTK to ensure precise positioning and 2.5 to 5-centimeter cutting accuracy without any boundary wires in place. We also take precision a step further with AI Vision powered by VSLAM, a navigation technology that combines AI and 3D vision to allow the mower to make intelligent decisions based on its surroundings, offering better accuracy, obstacle avoidance, and intelligent zoning. 

TRON’s Omni-Navi uses its 5‑camera, 300° full‑view vision with NetRTK to deliver superior precision and stable navigation in complex environments, even when signals are unstable. This ensures that even when the RTK accuracy drops in narrow passages, under trees, or across complex landscapes, the AI Vision takes over for seamless coverage down to the last inch.

Intelligent Zoning

TRON also uses 3D mapping and intelligent path planning to stay within the bounds of where it needs to be. The NetRTK and AI Vision systems work together to compartmentalize and zone different areas accurately, improving navigation, reducing uneven cuts, and elevating performance on complex terrain.
